Ingredients

Mix 1 cup of Rosella Vegan Sweet Potato Pancakes mix and Waffle mix
1/2 cup of water OR vegan milk (coconut, oat, almond etc)
1 tsp of rum extract
1/2 tsp of vanilla
½ cup of raisins to the mix
1 TBSP of oil (coconut, grape seed, vegetable etc) – this is an optional step for extra moist pancakes
Rum Syrup
½ cup of syrup
½ tsp of rum extract
¼ cup of raisins
Instructions
- Mix 1 cup of Rosella Sweet Potato Pancake Mix and Waffle mix with 1/2 cup of water OR vegan milk (coconut, oat, almond etc)
- Add 1 tsp of rum extract, 1/2 tsp of vanilla, ½ cup of raisins to the mix
- Add 1 TBSP of oil (coconut, grape seed, vegetable etc) – this is an optional step for extra moist pancakes
- Mix well. Add approx. 1/4 cup of combined mix to hot pan or waffle griddle. Cook approximately 2 minutes until bubbles appear and pancake edges are lightly browned. Flip and cook other side for approximately 1 minute.
- For rum syrup – mix ½ cup of syrup add ½ tsp of rum extract and ¼ cup of raisins – mix and warm on stove or microwave for an aromatic blend
